 The Economy bar is a good, durable bar. It is a step down in quality from the Pendlay bar, but still light years ahead of most bars you will find in the gym. Although we have seen 400lbs clean and jerked on one, it is not as strong as the Pendlay mens bar and if you are at the level where you are getting 400lbs over your head, we strongly advise that you pay up for the more expensive bar!!!
